Festival Park is proud to announce our new Media Sponsor NBC 17!

Welcome to Wake Forest Festival Park Website

We are actively creating a fun place in historic downtown Wake Forest.  Our landscaped gardens will be a new location for several outdoor spring festivals, a wedding venue, and of course home of the HerbFest, our annual healthy lifestyle festival.  For our returning college kids we have a special location for any annual spring break festivals to keep them here on the home turf enjoying their spring break.  With the kids foremost will be a healthy lifestyle festival facility promoting the best of the arts and live entertainment in a fan friendly environment.

At the Cotton Company there are many requests for an outdoor wedding venue or a reception area and Festival  Park will  provide that venue as well as an area for our town to have outstanding outdoor  festivals.

We are community crafting a 2.03 acre area for outdoor festivals: Herbfest, movies, wedding venue, and educating on eco-friendly gardening and water conservation.  Our facility is meant to be enjoyed by our community and we welcome your visit when coming to Wake Forest.

Our 22,000 sq. ft entertainment venue is designed to bring you live entertainment  productions of plays, musicals, dancing, and those other fun activities in our historic Arts & Entertainment District.  The indoor area will also have a stage for performers so the guests can sit either inside or outside yet still have the same great live entertainment.  As a wedding venue the reception area combines the best of both indoor and outdoor in one pleasant setting, if you choose an outdoor venue rather than our historically charming indoor wedding venue, The Cotton Company.

The combined efforts of our staff of volunteers is to create a venue that will further the goals of the Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment ( GJCAE).  This fund was established to allow more live entertainment with cultural, performing arts opportunities for the Greater Wake Forest community.

What goes on or can go on at Festival Park?

We are planning on bringing more outdoor spring festivals such as our "Race To Savor, Not To Labor" about enjoying the experience of running for fun from one oasis of food, wine, and entertainment in between stops for massage, aromatherapy etc. This is truly one healthy lifestyle festival you will want to be part of, if not a participant then a spectator.   Stay tuned for this one!!

Many times our DRC, downtown revitilization corp., stages live entertainment for free to our guests yet does not have an appropriate facility for such.  Live entertainment will now be possible in our outdoor festival venue.  A popular happening because of our mild climate are outdoor spring festivals such as beach music festivals or other forms of live entertainment such as our HerbFest, our annual herb sale and perennials,  or the juggling acts of the graduates of the Paul Miller Flow Circus, kids juggling, balloon sculpting etc. and now any outdoor festival is possible and all forms of live entertainment are welcome at Festival Park.

Over time as we landscape our gardens and construct out outdoor staging we will welcome our local school bands who help at our herb sale, HerbFest, and can feature nice spring break festivals for our returning college kids home for the spring break.   Because we have over 20,000 sq. ft. of covered space we can host outdoor spring festival and if rains then we can easily move inside.  A nice venue for live entertainment indoors or out.
